a) An understanding of the PAYE system including standard Inland Revenue forms
b) Methods of calculating gross pay including the treatment of SMP and SSP
c) The calculation of net pay including the treatment of statutory and voluntary deductions
d) Tax code changes
e) The treatment of starters and leavers
f) Accounting for payment to Collector of Taxes
g) Year end procedures
h) Methods of payment of net pay
