This course is delivered entirely by home study.

Comprehensive manuals are provided, complete with many activities and exercises for you to practice as you study.

Tutor marked assignments are submitted to your allocated tutor, so that they can help with any problems along the way, prior to you sitting an examination at home for Level I.

For Level II you will again be provided with a comprehensive manual and exercise pack to complete and send to your tutor for marking prior to you sitting an examination at an exam centre near to where you live

After completing this course you will be able to:

Understand the double entry system
Make entries into ledger accounts
Compile a trial balance
Keep on top of credit control
Complete a vat return
Use a cash book
Understand sales and purchase ledger accounts
Reconcile a bank statement
Correct errors in the accounts
Complete Trading and Profit and Loss accounts with adjustments

Mycourse were very efficient in sending out the course material to get me started.

Apart from the odd page missing from the course book I found the course material clear and easy to follow. I was able to email or phone my tutor for the missing page and this was promptly dealt with as was any other queries that I had. Assignments were returned to me quickly with any feedback noted.
