We will provide you with a comprehensive manual to teach you the fundamental requirements of a manual book-keeper. You will also have access to an exercise manual with exercises to practice your knowledge.

Assessments and mock examination are completed and marked by your tutor to ensure your progress.

Entry Requirements

This is the second level manual book-keeping course from the ICB.

You should have passed the ICB Level I Certificate in Basic Book-keeping prior to starting this course. The ICB may accredit other learning - please contact the ICB directly for further information

When you have completed your studies, you will be able to:

Complete a VAT return Use a cash book Understand sales and purchase ledger accounts Reconcile a bank statement Correct errors in the accounts Complete Trading and Profit and Loss accounts with adjustments 60 Hours estimated study time
