How will the course be delivered ?
This course is delivered entirely online with tutor support by email. Each module contains study material, references and links for further study, together with practical exercises and self-check tests to ensure that your learning is optimised.
You will be assigned a tutor who is available to help you with your understanding and to ensure that you meet the deadlines for submission of assignments.
Your tutor support is available for up to 12 months. You may be able to extend your support depending on individual circumstances.
What is the IAB? The International Association of Book-keepers was formed in 1973 to offer a series of book-keeping examinations leading to membership of a professional body. The syllabus and examinations are constantly updated to meet current business needs. Its qualifications are delivered in over 90 countries worldwide.
How will I be examined? We offer the unaccredited version of this course. You do not need to sit an examination. You must however complete an assessment for each of the eight modules of the course.
If you wish to achieve the IAB certification you will need to register your details and pay a registration fee to the IAB - please ask for details.
Written submissions will be required for each of the modules outlined above which are marked in-house.
For IAB certification, student work is sampled at random by the International Association of Book-keepers (IAB Accredited) to ensure that the high quality of the qualification is maintained. Successful achievement will enable you to use designatory letters after your name (MIAB) as a member of the IAB.
