Funding your learning

It may seem at times that learning is an expensive process - but training can provide you with the skills to develop a new career or to help advance your existing one and so help to improve your earning prospects.

You can buy cheap learning, in the same way that you can buy cheap cars. If you want a reliable car to ensure you get from A to B you may need to pay a little more. The same applies to the quality of learning. We have a range of learning options to suit many pockets. In general, more specific learning such as our ICB Book-keeping courses, is more costly but the rewards are often greater.

In Scotland, we are also an approved provider of learning under the Individual Learning Account scheme which can provide up to £500 of funding towards eligible courses. more info

Some funding may be available through your local enterprise company or Job Centre Plus - contact directly, particularly if you intend starting a business or embarking on a change of career.

However you fund your learning, you are taking the first steps to improving your lifestyle by joining the many others who have taken up the challenge !
